Trail Rules

To help protect the land and ensure a peaceful experience for all, we kindly ask that visitors follow these guidelines:

  • Stay on designated trails. Please respect the land and its ecosystems by staying on marked trails. This helps prevent erosion and protects the native plants and wildlife that call our preserve home.

  • Leave no trace. Carry out everything you bring in, including trash and food scraps.

  • Dogs must be leashed. And please clean up after them.

  • Do not pick plants or disturb wildlife. Observe from a distance—this is their home.

  • No motorized vehicles. Trails are for walking only.

  • Absolutely no hunting or camping.

  • No fires or open flames.

  • Respect quiet. Help keep the preserve peaceful for people and wildlife alike.

Accessibility Note

Our nature trails are located at the top of a steep hill/road. While the drive up can be challenging, especially in winter or wet conditions, parking is available at the top. Once there, the trails themselves are mostly flat and grassy, but please note that there are no paved paths, ramps, or accessible restrooms at this time.

We’re happy to answer any questions ahead of your visit. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like help planning.

Please be mindful that part of the land, including the nearby farm and residence, is privately owned and NOT open to the public. Look for signs marking “Private Road” and public parking areas. We kindly ask that all visitors stay within the designated preserve trails and respect posted boundaries.
